DEI Committee Mission
The LWHRA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee provides members with tools, knowledge, and the ability to help their organizations promote values and practices of a diverse and inclusive workplace.
DEI Committee Goals (2022)
Connect | Grow | Serve:
Goal 1: Provide content for the DEI page on LWHRA website
Goal 2: Partner with Scholarships committee to revise guidelines and build a scholarship fund
Goal 3: Partner with Programs committee to actively recruit more diverse speakers for chapter meetings and workshops
Goal 4: Onboard 3-4 additional volunteers to our committee
Goal 5: Facilitate Coffee Chat series: in-person and virtual formats (quarterly)
Goal 6: Create Puget Sound Blue Ribbon Commission: DEI Case Study Competition
