Welcome to the Lake Washington Human Resource Association, a chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Northwest Human Resource Management Association (NHRMA). We provide information, resources, and networking opportunities to human resource professionals in the greater Bellevue and Seattle, Washington region.

Announcements

  • Nominations for the SHRM Human Capital Leadership Awards (HCLA) are now open. There are four categories: Strategic HR Leadership, Innovative Business Solution, Competitive Workforce, and the Human Capital Business Leader of the Year. The awards honor HR leaders who have developed and launched innovative programs that contribute to their organizations’ success. Nominations will be accepted through May 30 at the HCLA Website.
  • New SHRM members joining online during the month of May will receive discounted dues ($15 off the regular price of $160) and free SHRM tote bag.
  • The May 2008 issue of the Navigator newsletter is now available online.
