December Chapter Meeting

Is Your Company Culture a Competitive Advantage?

Your company is in a constant battle. Competitors, customers, suppliers, legal/regulatory environments, and potential new entrants are just a few of the factors you and your executive team will consider in attempting to establish a valuable position in the market. In some cases, even “the market” in which your company currently competes is up for discussion!

These are long, hard, complex discussions filled with “educated guesses.” But, once the dust settles, you’ll have your business’ strategy. HR’s work is not over though. You’re on the hook to help your leaders help their teams deliver results that advance your company’s progress toward its envisioned future.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to position business strategy with your employees.

  • Strategy’s role in employment branding.

  • The value of change management in the context of culture change.

  • Measuring success.

  • What processes can you leverage to infuse culture into the workforce.

  • Potential obstacles preventing a strategy-based culture.
