Cancellation Policy: LWHRA will accept cancellations received on or before ten (10) days prior to the event. Registrants who cancel on or before ten (10) days prior to the event will receive a refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after ten (10) days prior to the event. A substitute attendee will be permitted given the LWHRA office receives notice of the substitution on or before ten (10) days prior to the event.

Speaker Bio:

Mark Davila is the Director of Strategic Affiliate Partnerships at SHRM, the Society for Human Resource management. Mark is part of the team responsible for overseeing and fostering the promotion of SHRM membership, education programs, certification and services focused on advancing the profession of human resources and creating better workplaces for all. Mark’s role at SHRM is to support the relationship between SHRM National and the 18 largest SHRM Chapters across the U.S. as well as operations support for all 556 Chapters and 51 State Councils.

Previously, Mark spent 13 years at AARP as the Director of Membership Product Management and Director of Strategic Initiatives.  Prior to AARP, Mark worked at both AOL and MCI WorldCom as a Director of Partnership Marketing.


Mark holds an M.B.A from the University of Texas and is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a double major in Economics and English.
