Presentation Description:


Marty Palecki will join LWHRA this month to talk about trust. In this meeting, attendees will participate in discussions and group exercises. Participants will also increase understanding of their role in building trust and creating a healthy, high-performance culture. Some learning outcomes include:

  • Distinguishing key behaviors of high trust 
  • Learning to recognize the symptoms that indicate trust is being blocked or broken
  • Identifying leadership practices to build, increase, or restore the level of trust in your organization

Marty Palecki is a founding partner of Lead With Legacy, a business consulting and coaching firm. Marty has more than twenty-five years of experience in senior management including aspects of Human Resources consulting, change management, resource development, and strategic planning. She has worked in nonprofit healthcare, rapid growth high technology start-ups, corporate turnarounds, and merger and acquisitions activity. Her employers ranged from family ownership to Fortune 500 companies.

Marty’s work is currently devoted to personal development and business consulting. She spends a significant portion of her time working with senior leaders who face critical business issues in cultural change, leadership alignment, and continued growth. Her work is focused on strategic intention, visionary leadership, communication, and leadership development. Her personal development clients experience a custom designed coaching program focused to accelerate their individual growth and to achieve the next stage of fulfilling their goals and dreams. The process is based on inquiry, reflection, and practice – keys to producing results.

Marty guides individuals and organizations in discovering better ways of working together. Her clients leverage people’s strengths and develop collective wisdom. With her guidance, they reduce waste of their essential resources of people, talent, time, and money. She offers years of practical corporate experience and knowledge of today’s business requirements. Her client list includes small, family-owned business, and mid-size and publicly traded entities.

Marty is a graduate of Leadership La Plata, Colorado class of 2009 – 2010 and served on the Leadership La Plata Steering Committee for two years. In addition, she is a past Board Member of the San Diego Center for Children and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Southwestern Colorado.

Registration Information:

Cost is $45 for LWHRA members and $60 for non-members. Attendees are asked to pre-register and pre-pay via our website registration process.

Waiting List:

If the registration deadline has passed, you are welcome to arrive at the venue at 11:00 a.m. and enter your name on the waiting list. We will accommodate walk-ins whenever space is available. The onsite registration fee is $55 for LWHRA members and $70 for non-members. Note that only the regular meal is available to walk-ins, and the fee must be paid on site.

Refund Policy:

LWHRA sets its registration fees as low as possible in order to make educational opportunities widely available. We will gladly issue refunds for event registrations that are canceled before the registration deadline. Because we need to make venue arrangements and order refreshments in advance, we are unable to refund registration fees after the deadline. No-shows who have registered but not paid in advance will be billed. Substitutions are always welcome. Please request your substitute to inform the registration desk that they are attending in your place.
