&lt;p&gt;Whether you are unemployed, want to begin exploring making a change or just want to proactively manage your career this groups goal is to provide positive support and keep you moving forward!&amp;nbsp; We will talk about the process of change and its impact on you, clarifying career goals, network with peers, share job ideas, identify your &amp;quot;burning question(s)&amp;quot; and have round table discussions.&amp;nbsp; We will also have practical tips and or an activity in each session that supports you in landing that next job!&amp;nbsp; Plus, on occasion, special guest speakers!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

No-shows who have registered but not paid in advance will be billed.&lt;/strong&gt; Substitutions are always welcome.             &lt;p&gt;Management and supervision require the ability to influence a wide range of people&amp;mdash;both within and outside the organization.  We will look at the vital aspects of your visual, verbal and vocal image that help influence those around you&amp;mdash;from direct reports, to peers, to executives.  You&amp;rsquo;ll explore what is effective in multiple settings with multiple audiences and develop an action plan to prepare for and manage interactions with those people critical to your success and that of your team. According to Daniel Goleman, author of &lt;em&gt;Emotional Intelligence&lt;/em&gt;,&lt;/p&gt;

            &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Registration Deadline:&lt;/strong&gt; 5:00 pm Thursday, November 1, 2012.&lt;/p&gt;
            &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Refund Policy:&lt;/strong&gt; LWHRA sets its registration fees as low as possible in order to make educational opportunities widely available. We will gladly issue refunds for event registrations that are canceled before the registration deadline. Because we need to make venue arrangements and order refreshments in advance, &lt;strong&gt;we are unable to refund registration fees after the deadline. No-shows who have registered but not paid in advance will be billed.&lt;/strong&gt; Substitutions are always welcome. Please request your substitute to inform the registration desk that they are attending in your place.&lt;/p&gt;
            &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Waiting List: &lt;/strong&gt;If the registration deadline has passed, you are welcome to arrive at the venue at 11:00 am and enter your name on the waiting list. We will accommodate walk-ins whenever space is available. The onsite registration fee is $44 for LWHRA members and $59 for non-members.&lt;/p&gt;
            &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Member Support:&lt;/strong&gt; The Member Support Program provides free meeting attendance to LWHRA members. To be eligible for up to six months of meeting attendance, a member must be unemployed and a chapter member for at least one year.
